This note last appeared in the 2003 Cincinnati CAA/Heritage sale where it realized $3,000 and was described as follows, "Uncanceled and absolutely problem free. The note is fully signed on both sides, with the guarantee on the back signed by Gilman for the United States. Uncanceled New Hampshire Guaranteed Notes are important in any condition, and particularly so in this high grade. The note has a small signature written on the face upside down to the left of the signature block. But for that obviously Colonial-period writing, this pretty piece is free of all stray marks. An important note which is sure to generate considerable bidder attention."
