This is another ultra-rare Denver bank that was liquidated in 1908 after issuing only Brownbacks and a miniscule number of 1882 Datebacks. In spite of its $1,000,000 + circulation, only two notes have survived on the bank, both $50 Brownbacks. This example has been in its share of transactions, yet still has a nice appearance. The pen signatures are clear and there are a few minor edge splits, commensurate with the grade. There is also an internal tear at the seal, but that will have little effect on what this rarity will bring. Remember, there are only six $50 Brownbacks reported for all Colorado banks.
