Not only is this a rare type, but this two-bank town is not easy to come by. The other bank in Eaton is unreported, and this note is one of only seven known to exist on the First National Bank. None exceed the quality of this impressive example. The blue stamped signatures and full margins will compel bidders to pull out the stops. The most recent sale of a note from here was a $10 1882 Dateback in Fine that I sold for $13,225 in October 2006. This prettier and scarcer example has been off the market for over a decade, and should do as well, if not better today.
