19th-Century American Alphabet Stick and Busk, first is a hand-carved stick of maple, inscribed RDGINA JOBERHEISEREN, also decorations including: tulip, ewers, goblets; 24.25" long x 1.25" wide x 0.5" thick. The other is a bird's-eye maple busk with various shapes of inlay, including a heart, also incised potted trees and cross-hatching design; 12" long x 1.75" wide.
Condition reportVery minor, inactive insect damage on alphabet stick. Area of inlay missing and darkening at lower end of busk.
