Brass Ink Stand and Two Traveling Ink Wells, English or Spanish, ca 1770. This standish includes: a sander, a container that was possibly for a glass inkwell, a candle holder, a bell and three raised pen holders with handle. The tray is resting on paw feet; 8" x 8" (including handle). For similar examples see Schiffer 1978: Ch. 16.
