George II-Style Mahogany Armchair, probably Irish, late 19th century, with finely carved rolled crest of bird's heads, connected to carved stiles flanking a shaped splat centered with cartouche connected by bird's claws and carved ribbon and flanked by shepherd's crook arms terminating in bird's heads; with scalloped seat raised on cabriole legs with mask head knees over hairy paw feet; 18" at seat, 40" overall height x 28.5" wide x 21" deep.
