Set of Salamander Hound Handle Pitchers, American, ca 1850-75, of Rockingham glazed earthenware, attributed to the Salamander Works, Woodbridge, New Jersey, having a hunt scene of hounds attacking a stag on one side, and a boar being attacked by mastiffs on the other, the neck decorated with a leafy hop vine and flowers, a scalloped design on the shoulder and rope table rim. The backs of the hound's paws have faintly incised digits. Unmarked; 7.75", 6" and 4.25" high.
