Bennington Flint Enamel Cuspidor, Plus, American, ca 1849-58, of earthenware covered with brilliant green, blue, ochre and brown flint enamel. Marked with 1849 mark "A", 9.5" diameter x 4.25" high; together with a similar example covered in green, ochre and brown enamel, 7" diameter x 3.75" high, unmarked. (See Barret 1958: 128-129, plate 185-E.)
