Autograph Letter Signed, "Thos. Webster & Co." 1p. quarto, Chattanooga, Tennessee, February 2, 1863, addressed to Messrs. Stewart Buchanan & Co., and reads "When our Mr. Webster was at your place, Your Mr. Hawkins insisted upon us to make a number of Kettles which we agreed to do as far as we could. We are making them and desire to know what number you want - let us know immediately - So soon as the burnt Bridges are up we will forward a lot to you, or soon thereafter as transportation can be had. The Locomotive ‘Grampus’ went to Knoxville some days ago..." VG.
