Rare Partly-printed Document Signed, 1p. small quarto, "Headquarters, Camp of Instruction, Columbia, S.C., Nov. 9, 1864" and reads "Conscript W.A. Gasque is hereby assigned to Harts Battery Regiment S.C.V., and ordered to report to the command, on or before the Eighteenth Inst...." with physical description of Gasque, who was an overseer before joining the service. With integral address portion with Davis blue. Silked, Good.
