Autograph Letter Signed, "J.J. Bruce" 4p. octavo & quarto, pencil, March 24, 1864, and reads in part: "...you know Mary died March the 15 Tuesday morning about four o’clock in the morning and ...the children was taken down with the measeles but are all getting along vary well..." Good.
