Pair of Baltimore & Ohio R.R. Telegraphs, includes One issued September 17, 1862, to Colonel Campbell from General Kelly, it reads "McClellan successful at all points except Harpers Ferry there Col. Miles was killed & the place was surrendered to Jackson on yesterday morning but McClellan is driving them out of Maryland & it is said they have already evacuated Harpers Ferry, Longstreet killed Hill & Toombs prisoners..." VG...plus; May 25, 1862, issued to Campbell from Col. Miles, it reads "Concentrate at south branch. Genl .Banks defeated & driven through Martinsburg. I expect an attack here hourly mean to fight..."
