Autograph Letter Signed, "R.H.R. Whiteley Lt. Col. of Ordinance" (1809-1892) who served for 35 years with the U.S. Army and rose to rank of bvt. brigadier general during the war, 1p. quarto, Allegheny Arsenal, December 5, 1863, addressed to Messrs. W. & L.E.
