Charles Magnus printed songsheet "The Flag of our Union." with Autograph Letter Signed "Giles A. Piper" 3p. octavo, Reserve Camp in the woods, June 10, 1863, and reads in part: "...Old Joe Hooker’s Army is a coming right down through here. The 11th Corps is in Fairfax now and the 12 is at Centerville that is 3 miles from here, and in Fairfax there is a hundred acres all covered with artillery and train wagons that belong to old Hooker. Our Regiment has been ordered to do picket duty on the bank of the Potomac and part of them has gone, but them that has gone are ordered to go to Harpers Ferry..." VG.
