Autograph Letter Signed, "A.M. Heath" WIA at Chancellorsville & Petersburg, 1p. small quarto, pencil, Head Quarters, 12th New Hampshire Vols., May 17, 1864, with cover addressed to his sister, it reads " I am safe but pretty much used up. In the last eight days we have been in the line of battle seven days & nights - and in the front line at that. Yesterday had a hard fight. Lost one killed & nineteen wounded, the day before lost one killed and twelve wounded..." VG.
