Autograph Letter Signed, "Ch. S. Lynch" 4p. folio, Louisville, February 20, 1804, addressed to Colonel Abram Moorhouse at Natchez, and reads in part: "...I would deliver your lady into your arms in person, but being cicumstan’d as I am, prevents me that pleasure...You will be disappointed in receiving at present several things which you expected, & which I wish’d to have forwarded, but could not, you may however rest assured that they shall be sent on as speedy as I possibly can, say two more negro men, having at present sent you but two...I shall forward your negroes & furniture to a Mr. Turner at Natchez with whom you will leave such instructions..."
