Autograph Letter Signed by J.P. Hararll, 3-1/2p. quarto, Charleston, South Carolina, January 7, 1826, with integral leaf addressed to Rowland G. Hararll in Philadelphia, and reads in part: "...I had written T&T Streets & Co. Bill on Saul Alley at five days sight for Two Thousand Dollars to Saml. Hararll. Could not find a bill on Philadelphia or should have sent it to Bullock & Davis. I am glad she has settled with Lord and hope we may never deal with him again. I hope they will meet with some good wool in Philadelphia or New York...Wm C. Oakley wishes to take wool in for us and receive pay in Goods....I engaged all the wool Elden takes off this year at twenty cents per pound for that which is clear from Burrs & ten cents for the burr wool all to be washed clean...."
