Scarce Indian Scout Discharge Signed, "R.A. Parrott, Adjutant General" 1p. quarto, and reads in part: "...Know ye, That Sitting Hawk, a private of Company A Indian Scouts, United States Army, who was enlisted on the Fourth day of October eighteen hundred and Seventy Seven, to serve three months, and was Discharged...by reason of expiration of service." This is a replacement discharge, and is dated 1919. Fair. Scarce.
