MEN OF STEEL, the iconic dry point etching of 1941, titled in pencil lower left, pencil signed lower right, from an edition of 250 prints by Samuel L. Margolies (1897-1974), published by Associated American Artists, original AAA label adhered to the framing paper, a superb impression in rich dark inks, fabulous condition. Image size of 14 7/8 x 11 3/4 inches, overall sheet of 17 7/8 x 15 inches, full margins equal 1 5/8 inches each side and 1.25 inches at top, 1.75 inches at bottom.

Fine to very fine, no foxing points, perhaps an extremely pale mat shadow along the bottom, no stains, no tears, no creases, no holes, never trimmed, never laid down, two small paper hinges remain at the top corners (approx 1/4 inch square adhered to the face of the piece at each corner), no problems of any type, a great example.
