Provenance: Edward Carey was the head of a Philadelphia print company Carey and Hart. He was painted by Sulley three times and once posthumously after his death in 1859. One of his portraits is owned by the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Condition reportCleaned and relined a long time ago, otherwise very good condition.
