Covered in fine figurative mahogany, the desk is finished in the round and has a bank of 6 upper drawers over a unique sliding and tipping desk opening, which reveals to an original worn leather surface over 2 drawers and raised upon fluted turned legs, desk measures 45" L x 23" W x 43" H.
Condition reportExcellent early French polished lacquer finish, there is some minor to moderate wear on edges including small nicks and abrasions consistent with its age, all brasses appear to be original and intact, the rear back left leg is loose, all secondary woods are oak with hand dove-tailing on all drawers and no other damage found.
