RARE STAMPED "L.D. FUNKHOUSER & CO. / STRASBURG / VA" DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE PITCHER, "2" gallon capacity stamp, rounded rim, heavy neck bead, and slightly flared base, brushed cobalt hanging feather decoration off shoulder and flanking spout, additional cobalt below rim and at handle terminals. Fourth quarter 19th century. 12 3/4" h, 5 3/4" dia rim.

Excellent condition with a very shallow rim chip and several small base chips, two light hairlines at and across the base
