MID-ATLANTIC POLYCHROME-GLAZED EARTHENWARE CREAM JUG, lead, manganese and copper glazes over a slip wash, finely potted bulbous form with tooled rim and slight foot, unglazed under base. Retains a square printed "George S. McKearin Collection of American Pottery No. (inked 6.71)" label. Mid 19th century. 4 7/8" h, 3 1/8" dia rim, 2 1/2" dia foot.
