SIGNED G. N. FULTON, ALLEGHANY CO., VA TWICE DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, approximately 1 gallon, straight-sided form with a flattened rim and cove-molded collar, brushed cobalt "G.N.F" script surrounded by hanging feathers and a spitting tulip, adjacent to a brushed manganese five-arm spitting tulip and leaf rosette with feathers above and below. George N. Fulton Pottery, Arritts, Alleghany Co., VA. 1867-1885. 9 1/2" h, 6" dia rim.
