STAMPED "W. H. LEHEW & CO / STRASBURG VA" DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "2" gallon capacity stamp, first maker's mark without frame and with "S"s reversed, slightly ovoid form with squared rim and two handles, bold brushed cobalt three-branch floral decoration on front and feather decoration on reverse. Third quarter 19th century. 12 1/2" h, 7 1/2" dia rim.
