STAMPED "W. H. LEHEW & CO / STRASBURG VA" DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "3" gallon capacity stamp, second maker's mark with serrated frame and with "S"s reversed, slightly ovoid form with squared rim and two handles, bold brushed cobalt horizontal flower and leaf decoration on front and hanging flower and feather decoration on reverse. Second half 19th century. 14" h, 8" dia rim.
