MOUNDSVILLE, WV DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE CANNER, approximately 1 gallon, grooved wax-seal rim, stenciled cobalt "MISS SADIE ROGERSON, / DEALER IN FINE / GROCERIES, / DRY GOODS, / NOTIONS &C. / MAIN ST. / MOUNDSVILLE, W. VA", additional brushed cobalt three-line decoration, Albany-slip glazed interior. Fourth quarter 19th century. 9 1/2" h, 4 7/8" dia rim.
