WESTERN PA DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "4" gallon capacity stamp, galleried rim with lid seat, heavy rolled handles, unusual grey slip over a tan body, brushed cobalt triple tulip and leaf decoration, additional cobalt at handle terminals, Albany-slip glazed interior, fitted with a similar lid of unknown association. Fourth quarter 19th century. 14" h, 8 1/2" dia rim.
