JOSEPH SILBER (ATTRIBUTED), VIRGINIA DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE PITCHER, "1" gallon capacity stamp, semi-ovoid form with bold rings below the flattened rim, lightly incised shoulder rings, and a pronounced foot, simple brushed cobalt feathers flanking the spout, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Joseph Silber, Highland or Rockingham Co. 1866-1890. 10" h, 5 1/4" dia rim.
