EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA LEAD-GLAZED EARTHENWARE DIMINUTIVE CROCK, "1/4" within a dotted oval capacity stamp, double glazed wide-mouth form with bold broad flat-top rim and two incised rings. Exhibits a very attractive speckled glaze. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1870-1890. 5 3/4" h, 5 1/2" dia rim.
