EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE JAR, "2" within a rectangle capacity stamp on top of rim, wide-mouth form with irregular flattened rim, rolled handles, and two incised rings below rim, brushed cobalt leaf decoration off each handle terminal. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1870-1890. 10" h, 9 1/2" dia rim.
