EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE CROCK, "1/4" within a dotted oval capacity stamp, wide-mouth form with flattened rim and two incised rings, very unusual (probably experimental) bubbly greenish color exterior glaze, Albany-slip glazed interior. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1870-1890. 5" h, 5 3/4" dia rim.
