EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA RED-IRON-OXIDE-GLAZED STONEWARE JUG AND CROCK, each with a "1" within a dotted oval capacity stamp, jug with a squared mouth, crock with a flattened rim and single incised ring. Jug glaze features a very attractive light crystallization throughout. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery, or Suter's Harrisonburg Steam Pottery. 1870-1900. 10" h, 2" dia mouth, and 7 1/4" h, 8 1/2" dia rim.
