EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA DECORATED SALT-GLAZED STONEWARE CROCK, "1 1/2" within a dotted square capacity stamp on top of rim, wide-mouth form with flattened rim and two medial incised rings, brushed cobalt double fern decoration on front, additional simple cobalt decoration on reverse. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1870-1890. 9" h, 9" dia rim.
