EMANUEL SUTER (ATTRIBUTED), ROCKINGHAM CO., VA LEAD-GLAZED EARTHENWARE CROCK, "1" within a dotted oval capacity stamp, double glazed wide-mouth form with bold broad flat-top rim and two incised rings. Exhibits a very attractive speckled glaze. Attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery. 1870-1890. 8" h, 8" dia rim.
