GEORGE VI STERLING SILVER TANKARD
English. London. 1937. Of tapering cylindrical form with loop handle, engraved with a coat of arms and inscribed. The hinged cover with lamb finial. Height 7 1/2". (38 oz) Inscribed on the underside "The Coronation Gift of the Clothworkers' Company 1937".
Modeled after the Charles II Original "The Gift of Francis and Mary Burton 1684".
