figured birch with yellow pine secondary, two-over-three dovetailed drawers with oval line inlay and kite escutcheons, French feet, attributed to Piedmont South Carolina, early 19th century, 41-1/4 x 39-3/4 x 18-1/2 in. Refinished, feet, skirt and brasses replaced, top with burn and some stains, other normal surface abrasions and wear. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Elizabeth French Henry Gregory, Charlotte, North Carolina
