Victorian carved hand painted screen,

four hinged panels (now separated into two two-panel screens), arched oil on canvas board painted panels depicting figures representing the four seasons, each in fine carved walnut frame with inset burlwood panels, turned finials and feet, reverse of panels painted in blue and gold with stars and laurel wreaths, late 19th century, 66-1/2 x 94 in. Impact damage with old repair at belt of male figure with sickle (the fall scene), warping, other abrasions at edges on painted panels, carved frames in generally good repair with minor surface wear and abrasions.
