central tree of life design between two columns, upper corner work with exuberant leaf and flower vine decoration, stylized floral and leaf borders, gold brocade on burgundy velvet ground, gold brocade fringe, linen backing, late 19th century, 8 ft. 1 in. x 5 ft. 4 in. Discoloration and bleeding of red dye especially in central area, surface wear, fringe loss, tears in backing.
