17th century style, sleeping cherub, stone cartouche within garland of roses, lilacs and parrot tulips, oil on canvas, European, late 19th/early 20th century, 46-1/2 x 38 in.; early 20th century carved wood frame. Possibly restretched, canvas loose, flaking, crackle, cupping, cleavage, grime, consolidant or retouch at edges; frame with abrasions.
