man with white collar, unsigned, label verso "Hoskins [sic] XVI Cent English" attributes work to John Hoskin, British, died 1664, oil on copper, 2-3/16 x 1-7/8 in.; 17th century English style brass frame. Flaking to paint lower left corner and edges, accretion, retouch bottom left, left and at lip; frame with breaks to triangular teeth verso. Provenance: Property of a Charleston Lady
