central hand painted cartouches with musicians and lovers, blue borders with cartouches with birds and gilt highlights, blue Sèvres marks under glaze with "R", possibly 1770, 1-3/4 x 9 in. One with firing flaw at foot ring, one with 1/2 in. rim flake with regilt surface. Provenance: Private Collection, Charlotte, North Carolina
