shaped mottled brown and ivory marble top with conforming base, fine shell, floral and scroll carving with gesso and gilt surface, dovetailed and mortise-and-tenon construction, probably late 19th century, 38 x 47-1/2 x 19-3/4 in. Generally good condition, chips and losses to gesso, retains some original gilding, one leg loose at skirt, legs with several smalls separations, marble with partially filled surface as made.
