"David Before Goliath", circa 1880, the champion, David, before the Israelite army, monogram "G" lower right, oil on canvas, British, late 19th/early 20th century, 60 x 35-1/4 in.; late 19th/early 20th century gilt wood and composition plate frame with sand panel. Original stretcher and tacking edge, patch lower right, canvas slightly loose, crackle, abrasion at edges.
