Irish Queen Anne oak chest on frame,

hinged top with open interior, frame fitted with four dovetailed drawers with pine secondary, surface carved with two medieval style portrait medallions surrounded by ivy and shell relief carved decoration, case sides carved with tree medallions and top with monogram medallion "JSW", probably Irish, 18th century, 37 x 50 x 24 in. Victorian era carving, brasses replaced, top with later framing structure, some breaks and repairs to one drawer facing and one rear leg, scattered pest damage, other repairs and restorations. Provenance: The Estate of the Late Milton Stephens, Greenville, South Carolina
