wooden case with polychrome and gilt scenes with Chinese figures in exterior settings, brass works marked "Arera", probably British, late 18th century, with key and pendulum, 14 x 10-1/4 x 5-1/2 in. Original surface with separations, brass works probably later, chips and losses to decoration, some repainting.
