(British, 1865-1910), three-masted ship in a harbor, signed lower right "G. Mears/1884", oil on canvas, 20-1/2 x 36-1/2 in.; modern gilt wood frame. Lined, restretched on new stretcher, craquelure, retouch throughout sky, on distant ships, some in water, on sails, 40 percent of surface affected, signature with some heightening.
