ebonized wood with fine ormolu mounts, brass works marked "FC", ornate brass pendulum with bird and lyre, probably French, early to mid 19th century, with key and pendulum, 18 x 9-1/2 x 5-1/4 in. Surface abrasions and chips, face with some losses, retains most of doré surface.
