Louis Philippe bronze shelf clock,

figure of lady, holding letter with inscription "Moi, Ninon de l'Enclos promets…" and standing beside table mounted with clock face, base with scroll and acanthus leaf borders, French brass works marked "Pons", with key and pendulum, second half 19th century, 16-1/4 x 12 x 4-1/2 in. Old polished surface with very minor surface flaws, lady lacking pen in right hand, works with some replacement screws, otherwise excellent condition, in running order at time of inspection.
