inscribed verso "Eruzione di g Tebbraio 1850", the eruption of Vesuvius, February 8, 1850", unsigned, gouache on paper, Italian, 19th century, 12-1/4 x 17-3/8 in.; wood veneer frame. Abrasions, tears at left with tape verso, some dampstaining center, foxing and toning verso, remnant of tape at all four corners, creases; frame with abrasions.
